4 years ago April 19, I was at bunko, when suddenly "huh, that felt weird" I thought and then the air-breathing life of Alexis was about to start.
Alexis has grown from the infant who couldn't gain weight and had wrinkly skin for 6 weeks due to not filling it out to a tall athletic 4 year old.
She continues to squirm and wiggle and jump and play. We hear new songs coming out of her mouth every day. She love to memorize books and laugh.
This year we had a puppet party. We made paper bag puppets and then had special guest Mr. Vic (
http://www.themrvic.com/) come and do a show. I made a cookies and cream cake that satisfied all of Alexis' requests for her cake despite it's less than beautiful appearance. She was so excited to be a little hostess and to have her friends over for her party. Pictures below. (Video is quite long, so YouTube rejected it, let me know if you want to see it.)
