The day after Disneyland (Memorial Monday) Alexis was amazingly still able to get up fairly early. So I decided to take Alexis for a walk and my sister told me where we could find a playground.
Lucky for us since we wanted to relax the rest of the day, getting to this playground meant we had to walk up and down a big hill. So we picked up "little purple flowers that weren't crushed by people stepping on them" from the sidewalk and made our way to the park. At the park we met Max and Leo and some other kids. Max and Leo let her play with their sand toys and have some gummy bears though, so once they broke through the shyness they were instant friends. My sister had come to join us and on our way back we decided that we would stop at the donut shop near the house. The donut man was extra nice to Alexis and gave her a few donut holes to go along with her "sparkle" donuts. And by this time after waling and playing the little person was ready to chill out and relax too.
The rest of the day was spent relaxing until Uncle Noah came home from his trip and then it was dinner and bed for a very tired bunch.
The next morning we packed up and boarded the plane back home.
